Why are trees so important to us?
Trees are the lungs of the earth, the direct or indirect habitat for nearly every land species, and the protectors of our vital water supplies. Unfortunately, forests are being lost at an alarming rate due to natural and human causes.

Why is Environmental Conservation So Important?
Planting trees is only part of the equation; healthy ecosystems need the protection of trees, shrubs, grasses, soils, and waterways. The conservation initiatives of the International Conservation Fund (ICF) work to protect fragile ecosystems where they are most threatened.
Working with locals. Protection of ecologically valuable land starts with locals and governments. Setting up NGOs and educating people on the value of critically important lands leads to long-term gains for everyone.
